The Delaware Bar Exam is administered over two and one half days. The essay portion of the Delaware Bar Exam is administered on day 1 and consists of 8 essay questions.  On the morning of day 2 of the Delaware Bar Exam, 2 MPT questions are administered.  On day 3 pf the Delaware Bar Exam, the Multistate Bar Exam is administered.  An applicant must also complete a clerkship requirement and attend a Pre-Admission Conference before being admitted in Delaware.  Click here for more information about AmeriBar's Multistate Bar Review Course and how it can help you pass the Delaware Bar Exam.

In Delaware, a combined weighted score of 145 (out of a possible 200 points) is required to pass. The scaled written score of the Delaware Bar Exam counts for 60% and the scaled MBE score counts for 40%.

Delaware requires all candidates to sit for the Multistate Bar Exam when they sit for the Delaware Bar Exam.

Delaware has no reciprocity agreements.  You must pass the Delaware Bar Exam to be admitted in Delaware.
